Reid began her California career at ANG Newspapers writing for the real estate section while working as the Real Estate Advertising Department’s Sales Promotion Coordinator. She wrote releases, articles, a real estate highlights column and Home Of The Week feature. The first “Credit Worthy” column appeared in the real estate sections of Hills Newspaper Group papers in 2000. The content includes news and information for and about the area real estate community and affiliated industries as well as helpful tidbits and educational tips for the public. “Credit Worthy” can be seen in The Berkeley Voice, The Alameda Journal, The Journal, The Piedmonter and the Montclarion. In 2001, “Just Listed” was launched in ANG Newspapers (now Bay Area News Group) Saturday real estate sections of The Oakland Tribune, The Tri-Valley Herald, The Argus, The Daily Review and The Alameda Times-Star. The column is also seen in the San Mateo County Times and The San Joaquin Valley Herald. “Just Listed” covers all aspects of real estate and the home. From the highly serious such as the latest real estate forecast and the mortgage interest deduction to lighter fare like staging, decorating and gardening.
